2 day Romiromi Course

After completing our foundation course we will delve deeper into our learning. In this wānanga, we will begin to activate the healer that is within us all.  We will learn takutaku, haemata (pressure points), how to access and connect to the whatumanawa (spiritual heart) and the importance of maintaining our spiritual space. If you are already practicing in the field of healing, this wānanga will give you tools and knowledge to keep yourself safe and grounded while working in the spiritual realms.

*Note – Prerequisite: Completed our 1-day foundation wananga, please book for this 1 day program first, if you haven’t completed it. 1 DAY ROMIROMI FOUNDATION COURSE ⇒

Romiromi is a powerful indigenous healing modality that has many benefits. It is often passed down from generation to generation and taught in the process of wananga. Our traditional practices including romiromi are an important part of reclaiming our wellness, of knowing and understanding our Tinana, our Hinengaro and our wairua. Romiromi is another way to work in wairua to support whanau to release blocked energy, trauma, and dis-ease. In our wananga you will be taught about the importance of safety when working within wairua with practitioners who have extensive experience in this healing modality. Learn the Foundations of authentic Māori Healing and Bodywork.  This workshop is for everyone, whether you are a beginner or experienced practitioner – Māori or non-Māori – you are welcome to attend.
